About us

We farm what we ship.

SEASONS ORCHARDS LTD · EST. 2016 · NAIROBI

Since 2016, Seasons Orchards has grown, sourced, packed and exported Hass avocados from Kenya and Tanzania to retailers across Europe.

We farm our own land in the East African highlands. The altitude and volcanic soil do most of the work; our job is to keep the fruit exactly as it left the tree — cold from the first hours, and cold until it reaches the shelf.

It's an unglamorous standard, and it's the reason our fruit arrives the way buyers expect it to.

FINEST NATURAL PRODUCE FROM KENYA & TANZANIA

Why buyers choose Seasons Orchards.

AVAILABILITY

Always on the water.

Our own orchards give us volume we control, and a packhouse that runs to the programme rather than to the weather. We commit to the windows we can hold.

DIVERSITY & CONTINUITY

Two origins, one long season.

Exporting from two origins — Central Kenya and Tanzania's Southern Highlands — gives us overlapping harvest windows and a longer, more continuous season than a single-origin supplier can offer.

PRODUCTION

420 hectares, wholly ours.

About 240 hectares in Central Kenya and 180 in Njombe — every hectare graded to the same standard, on the same programme.

HANDLING & LOGISTICS

Picked, packed and shipped to GAP standards.

Trained teams harvest and pack to good-agricultural-practice standards. Fruit leaves by sea from Mombasa or by air from JKIA Nairobi and JNIA Dar es Salaam — chosen by your preference and the fruit's maturity.

THE HIGHLANDS

Grown slow, on volcanic ground.

Cool highland nights and free-draining red soil — the reasons this fruit travels as well as it tastes.
